CPS Group have selected the CatCore RSD rack boxes and SMS/SMD stage boxes to be used for a stage patch system on a long term tour. The requirements where for a 32-input and 8-output system with inputs and outputs required all around the stage.

Utilising the SMS stage boxes for the inputs and the dual gender SMD boxes to handle the outputs, a compact stage signal distribution solution was designed. The front mounted XLR connectors also allow for direct runs outside of the stage boxes. This allows for ultimate flexibility as well as the option to later provide a passive split for a monitor console.

Combined in the rack with a Yamaha RIO-3224D the CatCore RSD panels and stage boxes allow for signal distribution around the stage using screened CAT5 cable, which is much more lightweight and extendable than traditional multi-core cables.
